How to get a colleague to speak more softly or using a headset?
I work with a woman of 75 who is completely deaf, I just do not seem to realize that. I almost cried on the phone (she is our receptionist) and I'm caught in the space just opened without walls separate us. When he speaks, I can hardly hear my own phone calls and can even heard on the radio when I use my headphones. The whole office looks like she can not evil (I do not mean they are wrong), so go to my boss does not help at all. Desperately need help with this problem. Any ideas? I thought of plugs ears, but it would not be able to work with EA. Bob, when you have someone shouting next to you all day, day after day, you come back and tell me how it is grateful for that position. In fact, I started looking for another job because of this woman.
This is a situation where we're going to have a conversation with her. Otherwise you will end up treading on if you get too frustrated. Just politely tell your focus and what is the problem.
